New York Course Requirements for Professional Licensure

When seeking licensure in another state, there are frequently hoops to go through in order to accomplish the process of obtaining your new license or certification! Depending on your profession, there are mandatory New York State courses that you may be required to complete. Mandatory New York State Courses

In August 1992, legislation established a requirement that certain healthcare professionals must receive training on infection control and barrier precautions every four years. In August 2008, additional changes were made to the training curriculum, the training process, and those requiring training.
