Q. How do I create an account?
Click on "Register." Under the heading Create New Account, enter your email address, first name, last name, and click "Create Account." A temporary password will be emailed to you. You will need to use that temporary password the first time you login. You will be prompted to complete your profile and create a new password at that time.
Q. How do I register for courses?
Locate the course(s) you need from the home page or in our Online Continuing Education Courses catalog. Click "Add to Cart". Click "Add to Cart". The shopping cart is located in the upper right corner of the website. Click the cart icon to complete checkout.
Q. What are the course requirements?
In order to receive a certificate of completion, the majority of our courses require that you pass an exam with at least 80% and submit course feedback.
Q. How do I begin a course?
Login to your account and go to My Courses. Locate the course you'd like to access and click on "Open Course." The course opens in a separate window.
Q. Why won't my course open?
The course opens in a separate window so if the course won't open, you will need to allow pop-ups from our website. If a pop-up blocker is enabled, follow the prompts that appear on your browser or select from one of these popular browsers below for step-by-step instructions:

Q. How do I print my certificate?
Login to your account and go to the Grades section. Locate the course and click on "View Certificate". Your certificate opens in a separate window as a PDF, and you may print or save a copy for your records.
Q. How and when do I pay for my courses?
At the time of checkout you will be asked to enter your email address and password if you already have an account, along with credit card information. Once you submit this information your credit card will be charged.
Q. How do I get a printed receipt for my purchase?
A receipt is emailed at the time of course enrollment, but if you need another copy, login and click on Purchases.
Q. How do I know my credit card transaction is secure?
We take website security seriously. Credit card transactions are processed with the same level of encryption as leading banks. Edgelearn.com uses a payment gateway provider that is PCI-Compliant. This means we follow the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, which is a set of requirements designed to ensure that all companies (big and small) that process, store or transmit credit card information maintain a secure online environment. Q. What are my payment options?
We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards.
Q. What is your refund policy?
We strive to provide a seamless learning experience, but if you are unhappy for any reason, a refund may be requested within 30 days from the date of course enrollment. However, we are unable to issue a refund if a course has an exam attempt or is already complete.
Q. Why did I receive an official certification form in the mail?
This is the number one question we receive from callers! If you completed the NY mandatory child abuse recognition and reporting course, you received a certification from us in the mail or by email if you live outside the U.S. The mandated reporter training course is the only course that has two certificates. As an approved New York provider, we are required to send an offical form to you. There is so much confusion about this second certificate that we felt compelled to write a post. Q. How long do I have to access the courses?
You have access to the material for 90 days from the date of registration. Even after you pass, you can still review the course material. Need more time? No worries! Call 518-618-1989 or email us and we will re-enroll you one-time, at no additional charge.
